Hideous Countertops: A Number Of Solutions

Perhaps you've got a rental kitchen. Maybe you don't have the resources to renovate a kitchen that you possess. Although you are stuck with awful, cracked, or disfigured countertops. Things to do? Here are a couple of ideas that are creative.

• Top having a large cutting board - When you have merely a tiny swathe of countertop, like we have had in past apartments, try topping it using a large, attractive cutting board. Sure, it does not cover up all the countertop, but it's more practical and beautiful, and takes the eye away from the nasty.

• Paint them! - Some laminate countertops could be painted and sealed to completely change their look. That is not especially hard, and cheap. • Cover them up some other manner - Reader jblue's comment in this place really intrigued us. Kitchen countertop was covered up by jblue with vinyl tiles. This seems tricky, but it has possibilities that are creative!
